Diagnostic Imaging can support care ordered by hospital physicians as well as other referring providers in the community. This makes imaging an important part of both hospital-based care and broader care coordination.

When Imaging May be Recommended

Your care team may recommend imaging to help:

• evaluate pain, injury, or new symptoms

• confirm or rule out a condition

• support treatment planning

• monitor ongoing health concerns

• provide additional clinical information for follow-up care

What Patients can Expect

We work to make the imaging process as clear and supportive as possible. Depending on the type of exam, patients may receive instructions before their visit and guidance from the care team during the appointment.
