The Emergency Department at Coral West Community Hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing care for urgent and serious medical conditions. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, do not delay care.
When to Visit the Emergency Room
Go to the Emergency Room or call 911 if you or someone with you is experiencing:

Chest pain or trouble breathing

Stroke symptoms (such as sudden weakness, confusion, or trouble speaking)

Severe injury, bleeding, or burns

Sudden or intense pain

Loss of consciousness

When you arrive at the Emergency Department, patients are evaluated as quickly as possible.
Care is prioritized based on medical need to ensure that the most serious conditions are treated first. You may see multiple members of our care team during your visit.
