Our Commitment to Financial Support

We offer financial assistance or charity care to patients who:

  • Have medically necessary healthcare needs

  • Are uninsured or underinsured

  • Are not eligible for government assistance programs

Financial assistance is provided through a fair and consistent process designed to support patients facing financial difficulty.

Eligibility is determined without regard to sex, race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, disability, medical condition, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or educational background.

How Financial Assistance Is Determined

Financial assistance is evaluated by reviewing:

  • The medically necessary services requested or provided

  • Available insurance coverage or other payment sources

  • Household income, assets, and household size

  • Confirmation of application for other coverage options (such as Medicaid, if eligible)

This process helps ensure assistance is provided accurately and equitably based on individual circumstances.

International patients are generally not eligible for financial assistance.

Types of Financial Support Available

Depending on eligibility, financial assistance options may include:

  • Charity Care: Medically necessary services provided at no cost for eligible patients

  • Reduced Charges: Medically necessary services offered at reduced rates

  • Payment Plans: Extended payment plan options to help spread out costs over time

 

All billing and collection practices follow fair and consistent standards.

CareCredit® Healthcare Financing

CareCredit® is a healthcare credit card that may be used to pay for eligible healthcare expenses at participating facilities.

Features may include:

  • 6- or 12-month special financing on qualifying purchases of $200 or more

  • Flexible payment options based on approval

CareCredit® is subject to credit approval. Minimum monthly payments are required.
